is for both the body and mind. In our exercise sessions, I learned the basics of resistance
training, and now I am confident on my own at the gym. Not only did I achieve my fitness goal of

Positive Routine Built

Before I started with Steve, I was at a pretty low point. I had quit a job I was miserable at, was
using drugs very casually, and I had no direction for what I wanted to do with my life. Our
physical training sessions helped me get back into a positive routine. Even after the program
finished, I continued going to the gym on my own because I genuinely enjoyed it. Outside of
training, Steve was very encouraging, thoughtful, and most of all: patient. We’d discuss my problems and my interests. He gave me perspective on drug use and helped me overcome my
abuse. He was particularly encouraging with my professional goals. At the time, I had no idea
what I wanted to do. Steve helped me hone in on my interests and strengths. We created goals,
and I can proudly say that I achieved them. After the program, I applied for graduate school and now have a Master’s degree in Journalism.
Most of all, Steve taught me that it isn’t just some magic that suddenly changes your life. It’s
hard work and persistence. Steve has been a great guide for my journey, but it was the work and
dedication that I put in. I wanted to make that change, and he showed me how to do it.
